LETTER: Happy that housing benefit is being cut
RE a recent Friday Burnley Express story on “housing benefits cuts fears” – at last Burnley Council are cutting down on housing benefits.
Why should us taxpayers pay for the likes of Mr Nathan Andrews to live in a nice bachelor pad in the centre of Burnley when he is on benefits?
How does he have the cheek to sit there and whinge to the papers in all his designer gear when he is on benefits?
He needs to get off his backside and look for something cheaper – there are plenty of nice little houses up for rent in the town. Or get a job like the rest of us.
