LETTER: Hanging baskets were always going to be target
When our well-meaning Nelson town centre planners emerged from their darkened room and found a number of hanging baskets had been vandalised, they could hardly have been surprised. No one else was.
The vandalism was an idiotic act just waiting to happen. The big surprise was it didn’t happen sooner than it did. Are the baskets going to be replaced? If so, how about adorning them with fairy lights and a bit of tinsel in time for Christmas?
