LETTER: Guide Dogs for the Blind says thanks
The Burnley Committee members of Guide Dogs for the Blind wish to give their heartfelt thanks to the people of Burnley and district who gave so generously to our street collection on Saturday, May 18th, which raised the splendid result of £524.
Your support is very much appreciated.
Thanks are also due to our dedicated volunteers and their guide dogs who turned out in full force despite the heavy rain.
Our aim is to provide more guide dogs for blind and partially-sighted people so that it becomes a life-changing partnership, ending isolation, inspiring confidence and giving encouragement to join in social activities once more.
