LETTER: Great jobs news at Burnley Bridge Business Park
As your local MEP I am glad to hear work is set to begin on the multi-million pound bridge to Burnley Bridge Business Park near Hapton.
This much needed investment will boost business in East Lancashire and kickstart much needed job growth.
I must, however, stress the £3.85m. grant from the European Regional Development Fund was our money that has been taken away from us, passed around various departments in Brussels and handed back with a blue badge attached.
It is wrong we have to beg to get some of our money back.
