LETTER: Grace O’Malley is a star in the making
I FELT I must write to you to say I braved the ice and cold to make the journey to see the place where my dear sister spent her last days and was so lovingly cared for, at Pendleside Hospice, to join in their “Light up a Life” service.
What a beautiful service it was. I am so glad I did because I came away not sad, but lifted with hope at that wonderful place. But the most precious moment for me was the truly wonderful voice of young singer Grace O’Malley. Her breathtakingly beautiful singing of “Oh Holy Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” touched my heart (and everyones it seemed). What a huge future that child has. I purchased her CD which all proceeds go towards the hospice and it is the best £5 I have ever spent.
Keep up the good work Pendleside and their singing angel Grace.
