LETTER: Europe is wasting our hard-earned cash
ISN’T it reassuring to know that in these straightened times the EU still has plenty of our money to waste.
There’s a long list of nonsense projects already exposed, such as the ban on incandescent lightbulbs, but did you know, according to Open Europe, the annual EU Commission budget just for propaganda aka “information” is a staggering £2bn. The less we like the EU the more cash they will throw at it in an increasingly desperate attempt to make us love it. They will never succeed and we must get out.
