LETTER: Duke Bar community group here to stay
As a relatively new community group that started in Duke Bar six months ago, I would like to say a big thank you to the people that have supported us and helped our group to be a success so far.
My thanks go to Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale CVS, our neighbourhood policing team, Lancashire County Council, Link-Bridge for the use of the room and local businesses for their contributions towards our newsletters and raffle prizes. Also not forgetting all our members and trustees for their contributions and for turning out in all weathers.
Finally to the people that said we will not last, well I’m here to prove you are wrong.
