LETTER: Disgrace that Burnley’s best buildings are vanishing
I KNEW it all along! Me and my son have been saying for ages that Burnley General Hospital will be pulled down or made into a private hospital. They will sell it and use the money for something we don’t need, like a silly statue.
I am absolutely disgusted. It’s a disgrace that the nice and “distinguished” buildings are all disappearing.
How many more pound shops and bargain shops are we going to have instead of proper shops? This town has more bargain stores than any other place I know. We need better shops and services then people might come to Burnley instead of going elsewhere.
I’m really disappointed and disgusted by what’s happening to our town.
