LETTER: Clitheroe needs tips on how to organise a food festival
I THOUGHT the programme for the food festival was a very poor effort – featuring clip art on the front cover of French products – and even prices displayed in Euros.
As the festival was supposed to display the best in Lancashire fayre, I would have thought Lancashire products featured on the cover would have been more appropriate.
Moreover, there was no map inside. As visitors to the area from Staffordshire we got off the train at the interchange and were at a loss as to where to walk to. With a baby and a disabled person in the group this was not helpful. I suggest organisers take a look at Ludlow’s website to find out how to really organise a good food festival!
