LETTER: Clitheroe Cricket Club is 150 years old

IN 1862 Clitheroe Cricket Club was founded and so this year the club is 150 years old and we, the committee, feel this is a true milestone which must be celebrated with great pride.

A number of events have been planned over the season and one such event is a celebration dinner in Clitheroe Golf Club on Friday, May 18th, when John Gwynne, the well-known sports commentator, will propose the toast to the club.

The committee are hoping past and present players and supporters will join them on this very special evening.
