LETTER: Clitheroe is bursting with charity shops

I seem to be forever reading articles in The Clitheroe Advertiser about what a wonderful shopping experience there is to be had in the town.

We are told it bustling with independent shops selling all manner of goods which cannot be found anywhere else and which make Clitheroe unique. Certainly there are some of these shops, but no more than the norm.

As a frequent visitor to the town, my overwhelming impression is that it is filled with charity shops. Nothing wrong with that, but let’s be honest about it eh?
