LETTER: Children’s pantomimes warm your heart

I HAVE always gone to watch children’s pantomimes as they always, to me anyway, have that extra zing in the joviality of them, whether they be at theatres or schools.

I can, with hand on heart, say I haven’t yet seen a poor one, so not being able to see one this year has left a gap.

To make matters worse, I missed out on the Christmas karaoke and the fabulous carol singing which the children of Rosegrove School provided this year.

I did, however, see some of it which my daughter took on film. But the performance I realised I’d missed then just made me feel sadder.

Nevertheless children, it and the disc made my year. Happy New Year.
