LETTER: Charity’s thanks for ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’

On behalf of Child Action Northwest, I’d like to express my gratitude to the team at the St Mary’s Centre for hosting Pendle Production’s “Jack and the Beanstalk” in support of our work.

It was a thrill to see the community coming together in this larger than life production which brought together young and old both off stage and on. The stewarding and organisation, under Lesley Howarth, Richard Jackson and Terry Till was professional and slick. The young dancers from both dance schools were a credit to their families who must have been very proud.

The energy of the cast and the tightness of the production crew was breathtaking and I’m sure local folk were pleased to get a nosy at some “celebrities” on their doorstep without having to pay a fortune to go further afield for their seasonal panto fix.
