LETTER: British Kashmiris saddened at shock death
we British Kashmiris living in Pendle would like to share our sorrow and send our condolences to the late Geoff Yates’s family and friends.
The sudden death of Geoff has saddened everyone inside and outside Pendle Council and the Kashmiri community living in the UK in general, but in Pendle in particular, has lost a good friend.
Geoff’s sad loss was shocking news for us and we are indebted to him for the work he has done on the Kashmir Working Group since 1996.
May God almighty rest his soul in peace.
