LETTER: Bedroom tax breach of ‘right to family life’?
In April this year the Government has thrown another metaphoric bomb at the poorest in society. They are placing a “bedroom tax” on them, which means a tax on the number of bedrooms.
For instance, if you are a single father or mother and you have your children staying, as many people do two or three times a week, you are not allowed two bedrooms, meaning in fact you would have to share your only bedroom with your children, some of whom will be teenagers.
