LETTER: Attack on Euro MP Saj Karim should be headline news
it beggars belief to see on the front page of last week’s Clitheroe Advertiser and Times a trivial article on ghosts when tucked away inside on page 15 was a report of the appalling attack North West MEP Sajjad Karim, his wife and children had to endure recently at their Ribble Valley home.
Why did this not merit front page headlines? A crowd of 40 people invading the garden, shouting abuse, banging on doors and windows, the house daubed with graffiti and offensive e-mails received. A terrifying experience for adults, let alone children.
All this and yet not considered front page news. Incredible.
