Lancashire day, Thanks for a great day!
I had the pleasure to take part in Nelson Town Council’s Lancashire Day and Christmas lights switch on.
Not only did this bring thousands into the town but it provided fantastic music and entertainment for all, including the odd wench riding on a street train with Father Christmas! I want to pay tribute to Nelson Town Council and all the volunteers who made it a success but particularly Couns Eileen Ansar, Susan Hunt and Yvonne Tennant and look forward to Lancashire Day 2014.
