Labour has been wasting our money
It is a bit rich, to say the least, for Coun. Julie Cooper to criticise the present Government for the Royal Mail privatisation.
At least the Government had the bottle to do the privatisation, which the previous Government backed out of, not wishing to upset its union backers.
Talking of wasting money, it was Gordon Brown who sold much of our gold reserves for a fraction of their worth, costing the country many millions of pounds. Not to mention leaving a record debt, the near fatal collapse of the economy, a shattered banking system and the worst recession in living memory.
Perhaps Coun. Cooper would like us to return to the policies of the previous Government. I am sure most of the electorate will have more good sense than to grant her wishes.
