Julie Cooper needs to stand up for people of Burnley
I read there has been over 1,500 signed letters sent in speaking out against the demolition, and for her not to support these people shows a distinctive weakness in her makeup, very similar to our previous MP Kitty Ussher.
I can only lay my judgements on what I see and hear, but I’m worried that if Coun. Julie Cooper ends up as our MP at the next General Election, she will not be strong enough to make decisions and fight for the people of Burnley. Especially if the shambles that is surrounding the community centre is anything to go by, as she is reluctant to make a decision and say “No not on my watch” to the council’s senior management team and developers, over their intention to demolish it.

Coun. Cooper you need to start to make a name for yourself and begin to stand up for the people of this town, you can do this by simply saying “No”. You are our council leader and you can stop the demolition of this building. Remember Labour is to support the local workers!
