Humans to blame for behaviour of foxes

May I be permitted to respond to “angry resident’s” letter where he/she refers to wild foxes as vermin. It is a fact there is no species of life on this planet of ours that causes more destruction, pollution and extinction of life than human beings.

Has it occurred to “angry resident” that the reason foxes behave in the way they do is because humans have destroyed the natural cycle of life in our countryside by destroying their natural habitat by depriving them of woodlands and forests in which they once lived, so humans can build more houses and more roads to accommodate their ever increasing numbers, pushing aside and bullying our fellow creatures into submission and a retreat which results in them having to live a semi-urban lifestyle.
