Housing petition doesn’t show full picture

A thousand names is a farcical number for a petition bearing in mind the numerous comments written and spoken against these housing projects everywhere.

Mr Nigel Evans is our representative in Parliament, elected to speak for the whole of the Ribble Valley, so the very least he can do is present a realistic picture which this petition patently is not.

It bears no relation to the strongly felt opposition to these current housing proposals.

And I doubt if people will be any more disposed to more large developments after the Core Strategy is published. Old fashioned lists in shops would present the true picture.

Online petitioning is discriminatory against those who do not have computers.
