Hope a cure will be found for Cystic Fibrosis

Sophie Holgate, along with her family, would like to say a massive thank you for supporting her tea party. The day was a huge success once again and we raised £1,500.

This amount would not of been possible without you and we are all very grateful to you for your kindness and generosity in raising this great amount of money. We hope that one day the Cystic Fibrosis Trust will find a cure that will help Sophie and all the other children and adults who have this life-threatening condition.

The money has been sent to the Gene Therapy programme, so hopefully a cure will be found in Sophie’s lifetime. Sophie has had a good run for six months, but has just picked up a bug, so all her medication has been increased to fight it, so that hopefully we won’t spend Christmas in hospital.

Sophie still battles forward and fights everything this illness throws at her on a daily basis, but with the kindness of people like you, it makes live that little bit easier knowing people care. Thank you once again to family and friends for all their help and turning up on the day to support us.
