Great turnout for Verdi’s ‘Requiem’
As chairman of both the Municipal Choir and Orchestra, may I say how pleased I was to see a capacity crowd at St Peter’s Church for the performance of Verdi’s Requeim.
Congratulations to all involved in an excellent production which I know was thoroughly appreciated by all those present.
It is always good to see what can be produced in our town, and it is equally important to see such a good turn out to ensure we are able to continue to have this standard of live music tradition preserved in Burnley.
