Great to feel the community spirit

I attended the opening of Coal Clough Community Centre and what a lovely day.

The sun was shining, the children were all over the bouncy castle or having their faces painted, the outdoor seating area was full with people listening to the brass band. The bric-a-brac, tombola, cake and raffle stalls were all well attended. Hot dogs, potato pie and cold meat salads were all being served in the dining area, you could really feel the community spirit.

I know a lot of hard work has been put in to get this community centre up and running by the community of Coal Clough, so a massive well done and all the best for the future.
