Great community events make me proud to live here
I was lucky enough to get along to the Classic Vehicle Show at Towneley Park on Sunday and had a very pleasant time - yet again.
I say yet again because I have been to so many great community events in Burnley in the last few weeks. Okay, the weather has not always been great but events such as the Pennine 10k run and Race For Life underlined just how much community spirit and support exists in our town.
Burnley does not always get the best Press coverage, but there is so much going on. Looking through the pages of the Express I wonder at all the events that take place in Burnley and it makes me proud.
