Great care from the NHS
I know the NHS often gets bad press and our local hospital has had a lot of criticism over recent years so it will come as a refreshing change to get a straightforward letter of appreciation.
At 81 years of age, having worked all my life in the building trade, including a spell working at Burnley General Hospital, I needed a total knee replacement.
This was undertaken recently, my surgeon was Mr Saikia and I was cared for on Ward 15. I wanted to let you know the care and attention I received throughout was excellent and a big thank you to all concerned.
