The Future’s bright, the future’s nuclear

I think Mr Penney and Roche worry unnecessarily about fracking, climate change and global warming.

Have confidence in the youth of today: they will save the planet for future generations thanks to Tony (Education, Education, Education) Blair. We can thank him for raising education standards to a level never before attained by abolishing grammar schools and good technical colleges, ensuring everyone has access to higher education at the various Mickey Mouse universities, studying Mickey Mouse subjects for Mickey Mouse degrees: psychology, business studies, history of art etc. These are hobbies, surely?

And don’t despair of those who aspire to a “varsity” education.

They’ll realise the error of their ways, knuckle down and save the planet and polar bears from climate change and a fate worse than death.

So, gentle reader, the future’s bright, the future’s nuclear.
