Downstairs market - Good clean-up needed

It would appear our councillors are not over bright.

The Market Hall, top floor, with all the scrap iron, steel and copper cable must run to a considerable amount of money.

A market could be provided in a cleaned up market square, with the hall businesses being relocated to the ground floor.

People do not like upstairs markets, even the bri-a brac is not well patronised whereas Accrington and Todmorden are.

The council of 1963 were not at all bright, more idiotic. Accrington kept its Victorian hall and benefitted. There is unused clutter everywhere, unused bandstand scrap, and archway scrap, as well as flower beds with unnecessary seating scattered around.

A good clean-up would work wonders.
