Dismayed at loss of medical facilities
I was dismayed to see the report of the imminent withdrawal of treatment facilities in Barnoldswick and fully support those councillors who are protesting.
I note there has been consultation. All I can say is nobody asked me. How does an elderly or infirm person with no transport get to Colne?
This is an example of the erosion of small but essential services which contribute far more to the conviviality of life in a small town than their cost would suggest. It would seem this aspect of life has been totally ignored by this arbitrary decision.
