Cystic fibrosis - Please back this duo’s fine effort

As I lie here at 1-35 am with my daughter giving continual percussion to try and give her a break from the heart breaking cough that she is battling once again, knowing that tomorrow brings yet another trip to the hospital for our daughter to have to put her arms in a bucket of hot water for the pain stacking tasks of yet more blood test, for the agonising process of the nurse trying to get that blood from the non-existent vein.

Praying to God that he won’t take your daughter early from you, hoping she has the strength and courage to pull through yet again.

This is just a very small insight into the life of a cystic fibrosis family and the battles that they face on a day-to-day basis. This is why it is so important to help support Steven and of course Betty, to help them raise money for cystic fibrosis.

We need to do as much as we can to help, even if every body who read this gave what they could, it would make a massive difference.

I am asking you from the bottom of my heart to help Steven and Betty, to give them support if you see them out running give them a well done or a pip if in your car, just so he knows, on those wet cold days – and there will be a few – that people are behind him. Especially all us parents of CF children.
