Council is only interested in revenue

In your front page story “It’s a Tragedy”, it was stated the lack of a five-year housing land supply weighed significantly in favour of the development.

Incompetent is not a strong enough word to describe RVBC Planning.

How Coun. Terry Hill has the nerve to defend the situation is unbelievable. Producing a Core Strategy is hardly rocket science. To say that rules have changed several times during the process which dates back to 2006 is a telling excuse.

This and the other approvals added together is a disaster for the people of the Ribble Valley and RVBC gives the impression they are not interested in its residents, just the revenue all those extra houses will generate.
