Come election day, forget the mainstream parties


The shameful, sad case of a pensioner burning himself to death over an £800 debt, not of his own making, but due to government austerity cuts and the incompetence of his local authority. The inquest heard he was bounced around an electronic switchboard when he called for help.
All Labour cabinet on the council resigned as a result of the Rotherham sex abuse scandal. Who was responsible for this pensioner’s demise? Council or government? It’s your call come election day.
