Burnley-Wigan match ticket was handed in ... thanks!
On Friday, April 11th, I lost my wallet in Burnley.
After searching for some time and deciding I had little hope of finding it, I contacted the police station where it was handed back to me complete with debit card, cash, bus pass, medical prescription and my ticket for the Burnley-Wigan match.
The police could offer me no information on the young man who had handed it in and told me that what was best for me to do in respect of this act of great kindness and honesty was to make a donation to charity. I have been pleased to do this. What remains is my hope that he reads and recognises the purpose of this letter and accepts my most grateful thanks.
