Big thankyous after Padiham Xmas lights switch-on

I was approached by numerous people from out of town to say what a fantastic night they had witnessed here in Padiham and that they would definitely watch out for further events in our town.

This is all thanks to many hard-working people in the town and Padiham Town Council wish to thank Padiham Primary School for their magical singing on the town hall steps, the Rev. Mark Jones for the dedication of the Crib and a very big thanks to the wonderful Grace O’Malley who never lets Padiham down.

The appearance of Olaf the Snowman from “Frozen” was the show stopper and was well received by all the children (and lots of adults also). A massive thanks to Helen and all the team at 2BR for their help during the whole event. Thanks must go to the Burnley Alliance Silver Band for finishing the evening off with a lovely Christmas atmosphere, and the biggest thank you is to all the members of public who turned out for this evening of fun.
