Ambulance service is top class
The ambulance service seems to be coming in for a lot of flack lately and I would like to say a few words in its defence.
During the last couple of years I have had to dial 999 and request an ambulance several times. Every time the response has been incredibly quick, sometimes arriving at the door before my call was finished.
The crews have been, without exception, kind, reassuring and incredibly professional. I honestly can’t fault them and only wish all sections of the NHS were like them.
