Alcohol for sale at primary school Hallowe’en party
I recently attended a Hallowe’en party for the children at a local primary school.
Not only was it a complete free-for-all, with no real adult supervision, I was horrified to see alcoholic beverages were being sold for the parents at a £2 fixed “donation” price, alongside the children’s drinks and hotdogs.
What has this world come to when teachers feel it is acceptable for adults to get drunk and drive their children home after a supposedly children’s party? I await now with great trepidation for the forthcoming Christmas Nativities and plays.
