A long way to go if you’re caught short!

I spotted a notice outside the gentlemen’s public conveniences at Queensgate. It reads that, as of April 30th, the lavatories will be closed permanently.

It also adds the nearest conveniences are located at Burnley Bus Station.

This is no consolation for people, especially the elderly, who may be caught short perhaps after a long bus journey. It’s looking like sooner or later there will be no public facilities at all!
