Padiham deserving of heritage grant

Towns like Padiham so often become the poor neighbours of their larger counterparts, but it is vital that the identity and heart of such satellite areas are preserved.

Padiham has always been proud of its own identity and has managed to preserve a busy shopping high street when many have failed.

Padiham is already showing signs of improving, let’s hope the bid for aid is successful.
