New hope in never-ending road saga
Now I am not going to get too excited, but ... there appears to be some movement on the never-ending roadworks at the top of Westgate.
On my drive into work on Monday morning I actually saw two new pieces of machinery parked up.
Mind you, there was nobody to actually operate them.
But still, in this never-ending, 10-week overdue saga, we motorists have to cling to every bit of good news we can.
Could it be that after seven months of snarled up roads and stress the end may well be in sight?
I still remain fairly sceptical, but maybe, just maybe, the work will be finished before Christmas.
