I’m hooked on Strictly Come Dancing

I have always managed to avoid becoming hooked on the clutch of reality shows that seem to have taken over our television screens.

And not since Eddie Yates departed from Corrie have I been a devout follower of a soap.

But I have to confess that I found myself reaching for the Virgin plus button when I realised I would miss the first proper episode of Strictly Come Dancing 2013 last Friday.

There is something quite appealing about watching overpaid, overweight ‘stars’ making fools of themselves.

And there is a bit of glamour thrown into the mix.

Where’s that zapper?
