Idiotic arsonists are in my firing line
Trawl through most editions of the Express and you will no doubt come across a news in brief or story about an empty house being set alight by young firebugs.
The problem does not grab many headlines as thankfully the idiocy does not normally endanger lives.
But that was almost not the case on Christmas Day when the result of an arson attack could have been tragically worse.
One of the problems we face in our town is the large number of empty properties that seem to attract these idiots.
We need to educate them as to the possible consequences of their actions.
