Chris O’Brien is an inspiration to us all
As someone who hauled his way round the Pennine 10k earlier this year, I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into preparing for charity runs.
But my feeble effort pales into insignificance compared to Burnley runner Chris O’Brien who is aiming to complete a half marathon every week throughout 2015 for the Dreams Come True charity.
Chris has raised more than £20,000 for this cause since 1997 and it seems there are no lengths, or distances, he will not go to to add to the total.
Chris will be pushing himself to the limit throughout the year to help others. As a fellow ‘athlete’ I take my running vest off to him.
