A heady mix of bars, clubs and pubs has constantly attracted large numbers of young people to the town.

Burnley’s ‘Circuit’, as it is fondly known, is worth millions of pounds to the local economy. But now concerned bar and club owners fear the attraction of Burnley is being eroded by new licensing laws which allow drinking until dawn. The police have also voiced concerns with the latest vicious attack taking place on Sunday morning at 7-30am – proof indeed that action is needed now before the golden goose is killed off.
