People are invited to join the “Cops and Bloggers” online web-chat session next month to get advice, send comments and talk over any non-urgent issues related to policing and community safety.

The session, organised by the council and Burnley Police with the support from Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, will allow people to get their questions answered using mobile phones, tablets or computers.

The session will be open for questions on Thursday, August 25th, from 4pm until 6pm.

Coun. Lian Pate, Burnley Council’s Executive member for community services, said: “The Cops and Bloggers session is an ideal opportunity for residents to ask questions about policing and community safety using social media. If you have a question we would like to hear from you and we’ll do our best to answer all the questions submitted.”
