One, two, tree: Reedley pupils planting for the future
Reedley Primary School pupils have planted saplings as part of a Government-backed scheme to give free trees to schools in partnership with the Woodland Trust.
Helping children learn about native UK trees and the environment, a Woodland Trust representative visited the school to mark the first phase of planting in the scheme.
The school, which had applied for a pack of 30 saplings, planted silver birch, rowan, and hazel trees in the school grounds to create an oasis for birds, bees, and butterflies.
