In addition to their college studies, both Lydia and Louise have had work placements with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Louise’s citation for the Special Merit Award stated she was “an outstanding learner throughout her Cadet programme achieving 100% attendance on the course at college and on placement, she obtained well over the hours required to meet the specification.”
Lydia Hunt’s success is the third year in a row that an East Lancashire Hospital’s cadet has won the “Cadet of the Year” title.
