Those participating could undertake a challenging 10km or the more gentle 8.5km hike through the beautiful countryside, with the event also timed to coincide with National Air Ambulance Week.

North West Air Ambulance Charity paramedics were on hand to educate the keen walkers on the importance of basic lifesaving skills such as CPR as well as cheering them on throughout, while the mascot, Paramedic Pup, was also in attendance to greet ex-patients, who were participating as a way to give thanks for the charity’s help.
