New parking for Towneley Park?

Burnley Borough Council wants to create the new car park, and planning cheifs are expected to make a final decision on the proposal by the end of the year.It was submitted to the authority this week for consideration and a consultation has started where people can send their views to the council before a decision is made.More information about the proposed plan are expected to be released in the coming weeks.The car park for the stately home has 57 spaces while the riverside car park has 400 spaces.The woodgrove site has 400 spaces and the pavilion car park has 85.It is not yet known how many new spaces will be created.For more information visit www.burnley.gov.uk.
