Nelson man missing from home

Police are appealing for help to trace a Nelson man who is missing from home.

William Wallace (69), of Fountain Street, was last seen at 5-30pm on December 27th at an address in Britannia Walk, Burnley.

He is described as white, 5ft 6in. tall, with grey, balding hair and of stocky build.

He has a scar on his head and a tattoo on his right forearm saying Sandra and one of a scroll on his left forearm.

He was last seen wearing a grey top, grey chino trousers, a blue baseball cap, blue body-warmer and blue coat and dark brown trainers.

Mr Wallace has previously travelled to London.

Sgt Andy Horne, of Burnley Police, said: “We are concerned about William and appeal to anyone who sees someone matching his description or who has any information about where he might be to contact us.

“I would also urge William himself to get in touch if he sees this appeal to let us know he is safe.”
