Nelson man (27) killed in Australian quad bike accident
Former soldier Scott Thompson from Nelson has been killed in a quad-biking accident in Australia.
The 27-year-old was out there with his girlfriend Sami Allott, working and travelling round.
The Australian police have revealed that he was struck while travelling on a quad bike yesterday morning.
Mr Thompson had been a pupil at Bradley Primary School in Nelson and attended Colne Primet High School before joining the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment.
His family live in Sainsbury Crescent, Nelson.
